Sean Peter is chuffed to be awarded the 2008 Australian Writers Guild award for Music Theatre, for his musical “Everything’s F**ked”. After premiering in Adelaide in 2007, releasing the Original Cast Recording, being optioned by UK producer Tony Green, leading to a workshop and performance in London, and now winning a prestigious AWGIE, it’s been a huge 12 months for EF.
“What’s really great about the award” says Sean “is that it’s a peer judged award, and it only takes into account the book and lyrics for the show. So even though most of my work tends to be composing, it’s really nice to be recognised for my writing. “
