Have just finished the music for the second season of 4 Ingredients. This was a great fun project, and the first time I’ve mixed in surround.
4 Ingredients follows on from the hugely successful book of the same name, and shows simple easy recipies not only in the kitchen, but for life itself.
I had a ball on the music which was a kind of indie acoustic girlie pop thing. I pulled in old friends Randall Waller and Kath Ellis , and I’m really stoked with how the tracks turned out. You can check them out on Lifestyle Channel from September.

An Australian Musical, “Dutch Courage” received its New York debut after being programmed by the prestigious Wings Theatre Company. Playwright Barry Lowe and Composer/Lyricist Sean Peter will attended the performances along with director Will Conyers when the work opens in May of this year.
The was work premiered by Adelaide’s Not So Straight theatre company, and was also the first Australian Musical as part of Magnormos’s Music Theatre Reading Program. In the lead up to the New York season it was presented in reading as part of the 2008 Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardis Gras, as well as further readings in Melbourne.

For the last few years I’ve had the great pleasure of working with Graeme Press, from Salvation Army Australia, not only on the Sydney Staff Songsters, their “in house” choir, but also on a new outreach project “The Agents of Truth”.
It’s always fun to put my arranging skills to the test doing everything from orchestral to reggae to gospel to bad timbaland impersonations. This year my 5 year old son got in on the act providing some backing vocals for the tracks as well.
